Warranty Repairs
Manufacturer Warranty Repairs
We want you to enjoy every moment in your leisure vehicle. If you encounter a problem covered by your manufacturer’s warranty, the team at ARC is here to help. We are an Approved Service Centre for Swift. In addition, under the AWS (Approved Workshop Scheme) we are also able to carry out warranty repairs on Autotrail, Coachman, Hobby Jerba and Rolling Homes, subject to obtaining manufacturers approval.
OEM Warranty Work
An OEM warranty is a guarantee from the original equipment manufacturer that covers defects in materials and workmanship for a set period after a product is purchased. This warranty, which typically includes both parts and labour, ensures that repairs are performed by certified technicians using genuine parts. We are approved to carry out warranty work on Dometic, Thetford and Truma products, subject to obtaining the manufacturers authorisation.
Our Warranty Service Process
Navigating warranty claims can seem complicated. Our goal is to get you back on the road quickly and with minimal fuss so we’ve streamlined our process into a few easy steps.
- Get in Touch: As soon as you notice a fault, contact us immediately via phone at 01303 533 333 or use our online form.
- Provide Details: We will ask for key information, including your vehicle’s VIN/serial number, purchase date, a description of the fault (photos help!), and your service history records.
- Authorisation: Our expert technicians will assess the issue and contact the manufacturer to gain prior approval for the repair work. This is a required step for all warranty claims.
- Schedule the Repair: Once the repair is approved and parts are on site, we will book a convenient time for you to bring your vehicle in for the work to be carried out.
- Collection: We’ll notify you when the work is complete and ready for collection.
Important Considerations & Exclusions
To ensure a smooth experience, please be aware of these important points:”
- Authorised Work Only: We are only able to carry out warranty work for the following manufacturers, and all work is subject to us obtaining prior approval:
- Swift
- Autotrail
- Coachman
- Hobby
- Jerba
- Rolling Homes
- Dometic
- Thetford
- Truma
Base Vehicle Warranty: For motorhomes, the base vehicle (engine, chassis, etc.) is covered by the original vehicle manufacturer (e.g., Ford, Peugeot) and should be serviced by their approved centres.
Servicing is Key: Your warranty is valid only if your vehicle has been serviced annually by an NCC-approved workshop, such as ARC Motorhome and Caravan Services, or authorised dealer, in line with the manufacturer’s schedule.
Owner’s Responsibility for Transport: The cost and responsibility for transporting your leisure vehicle to and from our service centre for warranty work is the owner’s responsibility.
What’s Not Covered: Warranties typically cover manufacturing defects but not items subject to normal wear and tear (like bulbs, fuses, tyres), accidental damage, or issues arising from misuse or unauthorised modifications.
We can pretty much repair anything associated with your vehicle, and if we cant fix it we can usually recommend someone who can. So If your issue hasn’t been mentioned on this page, please just ask and we will try our best to help you out.
